Events

In Kythnos many festivals take place during the year, as in the rest of the Cyclades. Among the most important are on June 29 the one Holy Apostles (Dryopida), on August 15 the honor of Panagia Nikous, Panagia Kanala and Panagia Stratolatissa, on September 8 the honor of Panagia Flambouriani and on September 14 the honor of Stavros (Loutras).

-On 27^th of July the festival for Saint Panteleimon (Dryopida)

-The “Kythnias”, which consist of dozens of events during the summer in various areas of the island
